Closing costs are paid at closing for your mortgage. These costs arise through the process of creating your loan.
Closing costs covers fees such as appraisal and searches on your home’s title. Specific closing costs depend on type of loan and location.

What is a Pre-Sale?
A
Pre-sale is when you buy a home in advance, before it is built.
This allows the buyer to choose color palates, materials, structural options, etc.

What is a Bridge Loan?
A
A bridge loan provides funds to make a down payment on your new home before you have sold your current home.
Get funds to make a down payment on your new home. After your current home has sold, you pay off the bridge loan. This eases the transition between homes.

What is a HERS Rating?
A
Home Energy Rating System. A HERS rating is a measurement of a home’s energy efficiency. The score has a baseline of 100.
Lower HERS scores indicate greater energy efficiency. A higher score indicates less energy efficiency.

In order to start the mortgage loan application process, there are several pieces of information that you will need to provide to your lender. Here is a list of items that you will need to gather in order to secure final loan approval:


*Please note that this list is typical; other items or less information may be needed depending on your lender and your personal credit history.

  • Last 30 days of pay stubs
  • Last 2 years of W-2 forms from your employer (or tax returns)
  • Last 2 months of bank statements
  • A list of personal assets
  • Proof of employment for last 2 years
